Dori Lieber has a distinguished record of involvement in nonprofit community activities. She has worked in radio sales and marketing in New York City. In 1979, she and her husband Joel established what would soon become a five-store retail chain, where she served as general manager. She later joined Jewish Vocational Services, where she became the Associate Director of Corporate Connection, an executive-recruitment division of a nonprofit agency. The program became self-sustaining within its first year of business, developing crucial non-restricted funding for the agency.
